MJ Lenderman & The Wind: Manning Fireworks Tour
It’s MJ Lenderman. It’s February, and yeah, it’s cold, but have you ever sat on a porch for hours nursing a cheap beer? Do you stop at Garden of Eden every time you go to Salt Lake City to browse through the denim purses? Do you wish you had a boat but worry about the possibility of a conflated ego? MJ Lenderman may be your answer.
Strictly unpretentious, and pulling from Neil Young and The Smashing Pumpkins, MJ (not Michael Jordan or Michael Jackson) Lenderman brings his critically acclaimed tour to Boise. Dock your houseboat at the Himbo Dome, and head to the Shrine on this cold February night.
MOUNT EERIE
It’s a walk on a brisk day when you don’t see a soul, it’s when you spot a stream of sunlight shining onto a mossy clearing. It’s a silent day in the dead of winter in McCall, it’s walking on a frozen lake, wondering if the ice will hold your weight, but knowing that it will. Mount Eerie is the project of PNW local Phil Elverum, fluctuating between soft confessions and louder expressions. For when you have more questions than answers, and for when certainty wants to be drowned out.
Glixen
Fourpiece Glixen is back in Boise, bridging their ethereal wash of sound to Neurolux Sunday, March 2nd. Come early for the mossy sounds of She’s Green and the tri-states act After. Bring your earplugs, and prepare to get a little lost in the sound.

Serial Mom: Presented by Idaho Film Society
The Pope of Trash… The Filth Elder… Whatever you may call him, John Waters’ campy film Serial Mom presents Kathleen Turner as a murderous mom. She’ll do ANYTHING to preserve her perfect suburban lifestyle. Think Gone Girl mixed with a large dollop of Greener Grass. Wear your suburban best, and bring your manners. And please, not recycling is so gauche.

Classical Queens: Our Time

The show's storyline explores the untold stories of two groundbreaking Black women composers, Florence Price and Margaret Bonds, and their unlikely friendship during Chicago's Black Renaissance in the late 1920s and early 1930s.”
You may recognize one of the show’s choreographers, Mungo Ligoya! Mungo is a local singer and performer who recently wrapped up his first tour, Aftermath. Mungo is a multi-talented powerhouse whose dancing, fine art, and songwriting says it all. You won’t want to miss this!
